Ketamine Treatment Pricing

Spanish Coast

Intramuscular Injection Ketamine

  • $400 per treatment (This does not include the cost of the medication used).

  • The required initial treatment series consists of 6 treatments (twice weekly for 3 weeks).  The cost for this initial series is $2400.

  • IM Ketamine can be used to treat many mental health conditions, certain substance use disorders, and may also provide some benefit towards treating chronic pain.

  • Additional maintenance treatments may be needed which will be determined in conjunction with the treating physician.

  • Some private medical insurance companies and VAC/RCMP/Fire may cover partial or full cost of the medication.  Please contact your insurance provider to find out more.

Intravenous Ketamine

  • IV Ketamine can be used to treat both chronic pain as well as certain mental health conditions.

  • $600 per treatment (this does not include the cost of the medication).

  • For mental health conditions, the required initial treatment series consists of 6 treatments (twice weekly for 3 weeks).  The cost for this initial series is $3600.  Additional maintenance treatments may be needed which will be determined in conjunction with the treating physician.

  • For chronic pain, the required initial treatment series consists of 1 treatment per month, for 3 months.  Maintenance doses are tailored after this by a treating physician, depending on your individual response.

  • Some private medical insurance companies and VAC/RCMP/Fire may cover partial or full cost of the medication.  Please contact your insurance provider to find out more.

Intranasal Spray Ketamine

  • $200 per treatment (this does not include the cost of the medication).

  • 20-28 treatments are required over the course of 6 months.

    • Month 1 – treatments twice weekly

    • Month 2 – treatments once weekly

    • Months 3–6 – treatments once weekly, or once biweekly

  • Some private medical insurance companies and VAC/RCMP/Fire may cover partial or full cost of the medication.  Please contact your insurance provider to find out more.

 

Individuals receiving intranasal treatments may require a different dose or a different number of total treatments which will affect the overall cost of the medication.
